Deals on Gas Products and Services at the Capital Home Show
Come on down to the Capital Home Show taking place on Sept 23- 25 at the Dulles Expo Center to reignite your excitement for home-owning. The event provides ideas and resources for interior design, remodeling, green living, and practicalities.
Cooking and design demonstrations, a sand sculpture exhibition, a kitchen-makeover contest, and a host of exhibitors will provide entertainment, inspiration, and information. Check out presentations by Sasha Andreev of HGTV’s Curb Appeal and Yigit Pura of BRAVO’s Top Chef: Just Desserts, or the cooking demos from chefs such as Andy Kustarz of Morton’s Steakhouse and Thomas Elder of härth restaurant at Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.
Representatives will be on hand at the Washington Gas booth to present our Washington Gas Energy Efficiency Programs. For a limited time, we’re offering 12,550 substantial rebates to our Virginia customers on energy-efficient natural gas products and services such at storage and tankless water heaters, boilers, programmable thermostats, and heating system checkups.
Get huge savings, such as a $250 rebate on a tankless hot water heater. Considering that high-efficiency natural gas water heaters can warm water up to twice as fast as comparable electric models, replacing your old electric water heater with a gas version can really save you some pain in the wallet.
Rebates for maintenance costs are also available. We are offering a $30 rebate for a checkup of your programmable thermostat. As those with programmable thermostats know, these handy devices will also bring your bills down. A programmable thermostat is one of the most underappreciated methods of making a home more energy-efficient, and good maintenance and calibration is essential.
These and other deals are on the table, but be quick; once these rebates have been snapped up, the deal is over. If you’re particularly antsy, you can apply for the rebates on the Washington Gas website. Rebates will come in the form of an American Express® debit card.
The Capital Home Show takes place at the Dulles Expo Center (4368 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly, VA 20153) on Friday, Sept. 23 from 10:00am to 9:00pm, Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10:00am to 9:00pm, and Sunday, Sept. 25 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Tickets cost $10 at the box office or $7 online. Children age six to twelve are admitted for only $3, and those age five and under attend free.
